since im gonna leave it whole i want to play up the height of the tank. I have a 3 foot vertical drop which means i could have one hell of a water feature. I am really considering 5-6 juvies of Iquitos vents or even intermedius after a while ill have plenty in the tank. ive heard they breed like rabbits. The social interaction with a group that size would more than make up for the small size of the frog.

Matt,
glad to hear you will use the whole tank as is.
That will make one nice vivarium!
And yes, starting with 5 or 6 vents or intermedius will provide quite the 'show'.
We set up a tank last year with 7 imitators in a 75 gal bowfront, and the customer has lost count as to how many are in there now.

so i think im gonna go with juvies beacuasethey are ussually less money and i can watch them grow in to adults. im not positive on what frog im gonna get but these are some of the ones Im thinking imis, intermedius or tricolors. Im gonna start with 6-8 in the tank that size. Of what i hear there are serious dendro breeders here in the northeast so i dont think it would be a problem of getting frogs when te time comes for that.
Im planning of finishing this tank by next spring or summer. this tank is gonna take alot of work and money. this one expensive hobby but alot of fun and well worth it in the end
