When I was looking for peat for a background I ran across this at a local hardware store. Crushed Cocoa Shell Pods. Interesting consistency. I was thinking it might be a good substrate additive or perhaps a leaf litter additive. I don't know how quickly it would break down. It was basically the size of a medium to fine orchid bark, but thinner, With more of a leaf like texture. I don't remember how much it was exactly. Maybe $8.99 per bag? I might go back and get some. Has anyone ever used this before or know anything about it? Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.
Jon
