D. Auratus and RETF'S -same area in wild?
#1
Do Costa Rican Auratus and RETF'S occupy the same area in the wild. I understand that the tree frogs spend the majority of the time in the canopy but they must come down to the jungle floor occasionally. I'm wondering if they ever cross paths.

I have observed both species in the 'same area' - within meters of each other, but as you say, the Red eyed tree frogs are in the canopy and leaves and the auratus are only on the forest floor and possibly some rock piles and disturbed areas slightly off the actual ground.

Would they ever meet 'nose to nose' and say hi?
