D. auratus 'Nicaragua'

Our group of Nicaraguans produce some interesting patterns at times.
This little one morphed in the adults tank.

Nice looking. Can you post some pics of the Adults ?

Are these smaller than some of the Panamanian auratus - Blues and blacks and other morphs ?

What morph? I find them to be similar in size to my "Green and Bronze" however, they are larger than "Black" and "Ancon Hill"

Ha that got her  ,thanks Cindy We adore auratus as i guess youv'e realised.I know some are shy:it scared us half to death with our first male we thought we had lost him,but now even he's comming out at grub time, well that and breeding. I think they should be way more popular than they are,the shy rep scares folks away i guess. But they seem to be such do ers in captivity,so strong. What others do you keep?

Here's a Costa Rican Auratus living near my bungalow that vexed me - only coming out from under piles of wood and boards when it was really damp or had just rained.

I'm not keeping any but CR/Nic auratus are still some of my favorite non egg feeders (lots of people heard me say it in person too :p), they're like a neon green histrionicus/lehmanni

Nice viv, Cindy!

What kind of fern is that up top on the right?

Glenn, I don't know what that fern is.
I received it in a plant trade and it was not labeled.
It seems to do very well in the vivarium, it sends off runners and I
have to cut it back frequently.

It's nice, Cindy and doesn't seem to mind the bright light at all.

No, it doesn't mind the light, or the wet feet!

I will research it, and get an ID on it..............some day.
