Hi,

I am desperate to move onto the next stage of creating my first viv now and have just bought some foam which I thought was great because it says it's waterproof! Only thing is I have just read on here that it's not good to use foam which is fire proof!?
Can someone recommend the properties of the foam/silicone to use ? I think the silicone is ok as I picked up some specific aquarium silicone (black so it should be safe).

I have seen special 'waterfall foam' which is black as well and that would be perfect but cant find it anywhere in this country - it's only sold in America !

Will the foam I have be ok if I coat it in the silicone ?

Many thanks,
Dan
