Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

WORKED! No background in that tank, what kind and size is it?

It is a custom acrylic that is about 40 gal. I don't put backgrounds in any of my tanks now. Not needed.

Didn't see any broms in there, guess they're not really NEEDED either since they don't raise tads in them in nature usually right? Do you keep the canisters straight up when tads are in there or do you need to tilt them when they're coming ootw?

That's correct. And the funny thing about film cans is that they don't often leak, and die even less often.
I just throw craploads in and let them use the ones they like. They're often at an angle, not always though.
