After some considerations I have made some changes to my initial design. The extra piece of acrylic attached is still there to allow the bulk head to be level with the bottom of the tank for optimal drainage. The top is now open will holes drilled and tapped to allow the lid to be swapped out or modified as needed. At first I thought an unobstructed front view would be ideal which was the reason for the sliding up panel. After some more thought, it occured to me that it would not slide out if a wood canopy was installed on the tank. So the new design has the hinged front doors. The back panel will be black acrylic so no extra silicon or painting will be required to hide the building materials. After the tank is built I will be able to drill holes as required for an future equipment. If anyone has some ideas please let me know. That way I can add them while I am building the tank. I am going to make my own arylic supply resoviors for the mister and fogger.....
