i think this hobby teaches patience. or tries it. one or the other. i am not a patient person, by nature. I am trying to do everything right, so i am trying to be patient. Waiting for my last package is like a child in february waiting for Christmas. Waiting for frogs fecals, and i'm sure treatment, and more fecals. at least the springtails will have time to get settled into the viv.

I share in your observation. Try going to a Reptile Show and resisting an animal impulse buy. We all succumb.

not sure what that is referring to, but sounds like too much for me to handle.

LOL, you aim to get me in trouble. My hubby has to come around slowly to these ideas. Since i have recently cleared shelving for feeder insects, i need to ease my way into it..sneak onto his good side and spring these ideas on him.

It has been just over 2 years now and I am slowly getting my husband into it. My next task is to get my husband to build me a stand for my tanks! He likes to build things, so I think I will wait until he is wondering what project he is going to do this winter then bring it up to him!

My wife begged for me to eliminate a rack, and start back the reef tank. So I did. After a some years, she is finally used to the frogs. In fact she is always sitting in my dart "den" as she said it "feels good", she loves the frog calling, the green plants, and aquarium. When I first started building tanks she didnt like it one bit. Her favorite frogs are the Azureus of course.
