Phyllobates vivarium
#1
Just got my new frogs so finished planting the lattest vivarium for them.

It will look pretty good when the plants grow a little larger.

I agree, I really like the background, looks like stone. How did you design?
I'm working on my first and stealing ideas from everywhere.

Thanks

Nice. I'd suggest throwing a bunch of leaf litter down.

Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

What looks like stone is actually a large piece of bark from a large tree that fell. I glued it with great stuff to the back.

Rich I know you keep these frogs as well and thank you for your advise. The ground is probably 60% mulched oak leaves and the rest is peat moss. Should I also put some whole leaves as well?

These frogs come from the Sean Stewart line, do you have a different one?

Whole leaves are nice also. What type do you have? I have mints, orange and yellow.

These are the orange.

Will put them on the vivarium tomorrow and will take pictures.

Will also add some leaves to the ground.

After looking at the viv, I decided it lacked some more plants. I went back to the greenhouse and put twice as many plants.

I just put the frogs in but the vivarum but it is so big and full of hiding spots that no frogs coud be found, even after some searching. Guess they will pose some other time.
