Im about to do a 55 gallon. Im planning on separating a portion of it with a panel of glass for a water feature. I notice alot of keepers separate the water from soil with the egg crate material. Are there any particular issues Im not aware of when using glass?

Sepearting with an eggcrate would allow water to pass through. If your misting the land area it has to drain somewhere.
