I was wondering if you have a (largish) viv and you split it in two with a glass (maybe fine nylon) separator, a pair of azures stress themselves to death? I am thinking of setting up a tank most likely with a fine mesh separating mechanism set so that I will just have to feed them separately.

Thanks! Smile

You will need to block it so they cannot see eachother. Out of sight, out of mind.
If you have the space, you could get a couple of smaller tanks (20-29 gal) for the azureus, and use the large tank for a group of leucomelas, galactonotus, etc.

Well, it is good to know that they get stressed (like siamese fighting fish) if they see eachother and it is not just physical intimidation that stress them out.

Thanks Cindy! Smile
