As far as 'hobby vernacular' goes... the term 'water feature' is used to describe a medium to large body of water with moving parts, i.e a drip wall, waterfall, stream or other.
A simple false bottom access or a small 'pond' is not really a 'feature'. It's just a water access point or a 'pond'.
