I am getting lots of spam in my inbox. My last 6 messages have been some sort of advertisement. Anyone else getting these messages?

Didn't know things where getting that bad with the personal messages. They are not spamming me, I didn't know. I will look into it. I have been somewhat on top of spamming in the forum, although they do occasionally slip by for 24 hours or so ((Kids, family, business etc.. etc..etc..)). I will try do do something about the PM's or maybe get rid of them all together.

Ya, I help run a forum too and its tough to get all the spammers before they attack. Especially if they are using PM's. I didnt know they were PMing spam though. I guess thats the new popular way to get their spam out since mods dont see it and cant do anything about it.

On my forum, there is an "about me" section on everyone's profile. I noticed that ALL the spam bots named themselves "1".
