blue Oophaga pumilio "colubre" Nov 2013
#1
Hey guys
Been looking for that one pumilio morph to make my showcase frog and be the only one I take with me to my new house in south texas and dadgum I found it! I couldnt help but to post these and share with those of you who truly enjoy seeing a beautiful frog. --fyi-- this isnt a flip attempt!!! Unless you offer me $10000000...then ill even teach them to do flips

I was the other fortunate person to acquire a small group from ray at strictly... so wish me luck to get these breeding!

I declined them. The price was too high...not for WC frogs that will still have die off, it's not worth the risk, especially because I'm sure more will come in, in the future. Someone else can take that risk.

I'm actually not too happy this locale was collected by the people in Panama. It's a VERY small locale, brand new (and was supposed to be a secret by the researchers), and based off what I know from those who discovered it, it can't support extensive collecting. Here is hoping for the best and that it is not raped. They are not widespread at the location.

Justin, I thought they were "farm raised"?

There is no way these arent cb. Also emailing with farmer back and forth a while back he had showed me these when they were about to start project w them and he said they only had a handful to work with and that they were soo hard to get going. He said they will be a challange...i just hope theyre not tougher than robalo and uyamas. Thatll def suck.

If rub marks and scratches usually helps us determine that a frog is wc, then look at these. Not one single mmark in them. They are flawless. I believe a frog like this especially scarce in its population...was given the time and effort to reproduce.
