finally have Springtails !
#1
After months of seeding and thinking that I was just never going to get springtails to establish in my viv...eureka! I spotted them. I recently stepped up feeding following my azureus' initial egg laying sessions. I spotted the springtails when performing my weekly flush of the viv and siphoning of the drainage layer. I suspect my voracious female had been diligently picking off most visible springtails prior to the increase in feeding. She was very well fed, and less active hunting around the viv for a few days. Probably old hat to most, but this was a big newb hurdle for me Smile

They are pretty resilient too. Even though it appears that the frogs are decimating them, they continue to be able to 'come back".
