phelsumaman Wrote:New springtails are here, they are very, very small. Less than half the size of the small white that ee are used to I would hazard a guess at them being less than 1mm in length. Going to keep them at room temp & fairly dry on the surface I should know whether I have a viable culture in less than a month or so, will keep you all updated
very interesting Ben,what are you going to feed and what subs? and what colour are they? If they do mate i might be so bold as to ask for a swap with you if you don't have these siera.Just out of interest to you, we do these seira in small containers on coco fiber,as we discussed but so far i haven't got these to do well in larger cultures, but i seeded a large charcoal, that had failed with folsuma? seems to be going well, but too early yet to be sure
take care

ha real cool, great news mate,so what ya going for froggy wise tank wise background bla bla,hmm we cultured for yonks before frogs funny really but its the only way to nail it down, our first experiment was with 6 wild caught ff,when they filled the pot we thought we might have a chance  we did let them go...no ff harmed during that experiment

I have a request for "over the Pond".....

Can someone recommend a particular person...person or business that has the most info and ability for knowledge of the U.K frog hobby ?

Did that come out right? I need a personal contact with someone over there that "knows everyone" in the hobby, ect, ect.

PLEASE do not post the recommendation of info on this thread, though.

PM me.

Thank you all in advance.

If someone could put me up for a few days...I'm almost ready to buy a plane ticket on Virgin and see to some stuff over there myself.

It would be a wacky "semi frog-centric" vacation...or Holiday.....that's fer sure 8)

Yeah he's a good un i think,he always seems to manage to make time for folks while still running around like a headless chuck.
Some folks don't like him,i think its jealousy,he starts so many guys in this and to me anyway provides service as good as one could wish for.
