Zilla tanks good?
#1
Has anyone tried the new zilla tanks it looks like they have a proper setup for dart frogs with a humidity cover and a 1-in strip of screen.

Yeah, not bad. I've had over a dozen of the older ones. I do actually like them better than the exo terra's.

Single door

Top is better, especially now with that adjustable plastic insert.

Worth a look especially if the price point is lower than the others.

I bet you my reptile supply guy can get a good deal for me I'm going to check out the bigger one. If anyone is local in northern Illinois I have a great hook-up for any supplies or crickets, worms, or roaches. He frequents all of the local reptile shows but since things have been shut down I'm able to meet him in his warehouse.

New to vivarium building but I picked up the 36"x18"x20 Zilla a few months back. Build quality is nice, but the doors do require your attention when closing. You have to line them up together and than shut the doors so that they will close properly. I left the built in ventilation strip, but replaced the rest of the lid with two pieces of custom cut glass. I'm happy with my purchase and would buy another one.

You also want to totally fruit fly proof your tank. Some off the rack tanks even have potentially dangerous frog size vents/holes in the top rear.
