I could not find black silicone anywhere, until I went to home depot. I got GEsilicone II 100% silicone sealant. It says it has a "Bioseal mold and mildew product protection", Does this mean it can not be used? I am not sure if It is protecting the "product" or if it has mildew inhibiters
Please help I want to start my first foam background and am very confused.

Many people have used the silicones with mold inhibitors. We prefer not to risk it and we use the food grade silicone.

Try All Aquarium Sealant from JT's vivarium supplies. It's safer than the commercial kinds, although many have had reported good success with GE I.
