Anyone able to get on Dendroboard lately?

nope.................sucks doesnt it? af isnt working either .so its probly a server issue.

I haven't been able too since last Thursday. Not sure whats going on.

I know, I'm trippin!! I hope they fix it soon!

Anyone talk to any of the mods to see if Kyle is ok or if this is a temporary outage?

What I have to assume happened, is that with the massive information it takes to prosses the active "reputation points" flying around as everybody either throws a red your way for pissing them off in some way , or shooting you a nice green rep point for posting a hardy "NICE PIC!!" or "GREAT POST!!", this has finally bumped heads a-goo-goo and thrown the "dendroworld" into into a tizzy . This along with the massive "How Many?, May I Mix Mother? and "What First Frog?" threads have thrown the proverbial sand into the proverbial Dart Vaseline...

What shall we do???

That's the kind of sarcasm that I miss on DB Rich. I wish you would post over there more even though I know you bump heads at times with others.

It would appear (solely from the "rep system") that most people do not want to read my posts as I have been writing for the past years. It is overwhelmingly obvious that "GREAT POST!, "Sorry to hear of your loss", and "NICE PIC!!" are what the people want to read.

Give 'em what they want.

I like DB because of the traffic on the forum. I like it here because you can actually say what you want and how you feel without getting your hands slapped.

I'm all for good honesty and opinions. I like that you have both and aren't afraid to speak your mind. I agree that there is a lot of fluff posting, but I manage to dig through it and wish you would too.

That rep system must take up a lot of juice!!!

yeah so what's everyone doing with all their free time now? haha! i wonder what the deal is - i'd be dropping a host in a second if they let my site hanging for 3-4 days . . . that really sucks!

Well I for one liked having you around on DB as well Rich. You are respected by myself and those who learn from your posts. Any thread that you or Ed post in, I read even if it doesn't pertain to any of my situations simply because I have learned a lot from you two. That and you post some gorgeous pics of frogs.

I've been getting some school work done for a change. Sure hope DB comes back up. Studying without breaks sucks.

Thanks Candy,

I do appreciate the nice words. I don't however see myself posting as I have in the past . A few things have happened over there that I really don't need to be troubled with. I post information as factual and pertinent as possible and do so to inform people and try to help the hobby. The bang for the buck is just not there now.
When I get more free time I plan on writing more for the compilation book myself and a few other froggers are putting together. Much of the proceeds will go to conservation projects.

So, If you miss my writing, buy the book when it comes out and help to support the frogs.
