It's in the full editor. I'm trying to get it into the "quick reply" right now.

Then I'll add an icon for it to make it look a little more like a spell checker.

Anyone that see's this.....check it out....the Spell check button should be in "full editor" near the "smiles".

Please check it and post here if you see it or not.
Looks like spell checker is active and works fine with firefox and safari....

Bad news is......looks like this particular spell checker plug-in does not like Internet Explorer. Go figure. haha.

Still...let us know if your browser works with it, or not.

Blackberry works fines and corrected all 4 words above, nicely.
For me....spell checker only works in an INITAL post. It doesn't seem to be avialable for a REPLY or a MODERATOR EDIT.

Anyone else, not abe to see / use the spellchecker ?

Anyone really like it ?
I likz it, ples keep it.
I like it a lot and wish a whole lot more people would use it !

I used to have it pop up in the "moderator edit mode" when I was using IE 9.....but now that I went back to IE 8 (and the constant freezing), I lost the spell checker in all but the inital posting mode. Oh well...
Seems to work well with my IE8 - fongers crissed!

We got a spellchecker here guys....just so ya know....

Hint, hint....
Ok folks....Spell check works with some browsers but not others.

Had a couple people contact me and say they cannot "find" the spell checker.

Spell checker is found on the Right side, above the reply block that you type in your text and just underneath the tool bar / buttons - bold, italics, quote, font colour, youtube ect. Spell checker should be a click-able 2 words "check spelling" blue in colour. "Check spelling" will not be visible unless you click "Reply" and open up a box to reply to a given post.

Please post and list your particular browser and whether spell checker is visible and works...or not.

I'll list what I know first. For me:

Internet Explorer 9 - spell checker works well in both "Quick reply" mode as well as "Full editor" mode.

Google Chrome - works in both settings as well.
Feedback on this - please.
Both work for me in FireFox and Safari
I can only spell check when I am simply doing a "quick reply", not when starting my own post or quoting another's post.
Rich...what Browser are you using ?

Google, Firefox, Internet Explorer -if so...what version ?

There are only some picture issues and plug in issues like the spell check, that I'm aware of and these seem to comprise approx 10% or less of our membership.

I'm still working on smoothing those few issues out as well.
The latest Internet Explorer.
Me too.. the spell checker asked me to download to upgrade only when using full editor...
Is that normal, should I?
Never heard of that ^^ before....odd.
