You must apply in person with valid ID. Species can not be transported to another island. This does not apply to Gold Dust Day Geckos as they are a List A Regulated Species. You can bring back D. auratus, anyone can who will fill out a form and who has an ID can obtain a permit. It is free to obtain, limit to 4 specimens. I have called, confirmed, have permit applications, and spoke with the invasive species coordinator via email. There are dart frog books in publication that say this is illegal, but they are incorrect.
