actually can't wait ,its getting more mad here by the day Ben,the hatches are relentless,i keep going into tesco and buying all their cheep glasses, and they aren't lasting long, its amazing and wonderful and all those words but,you know how shocked we both are by it all, please let us see no sls
Stu
Stu, you're doing very well, don't stress about the sls, you've done everything you can to combat it.

God forbid if you ever give this up you will have enough glasses for your own pub, or should that be sports bar as we are in the US of A.

Got to get back to work Blackberry calling yet again :-(

Speak soon buddy

Ahh Ben,damn you made me smile, although aint giving up till forced  ,but might cause a silicone shortage , Ben i can't but be how i am,and sls in mysties is almost endemic it appears,i can't find anyone, and damn i 've tried to get me around this, and yup your right mate all i can possibly think of has been nailed down hard and fast ,but the odds are so against me winning this Ben,but i so want them good and right.Ha but thats why i guess shaz and i have this room mate,we both have a huge passion for this we care so deeply that the stress of not doing right by them is always going to be there, but i wouldn't have it any other way, when we get the ups it means so much,ha now whose being sad

large group of U.K froggers here - I count @ 18 lately. Welcome guys.
that would b nice, having a fight with my ff cultures too now just to add to my hecticness, sooooo how was it then all you jammy people who managed to pop to Manchester?? did i miss too much ?
Here's your main retail store, right ?

Fantastic day overall, well organised. there was a wide selection of frogs with the dutch rana table stealing the show in that respect. To be fair to the UK breeders there were a wide selection of home bred frogs as well. Musty the organiser did ensure that it was not all darts this time round & it was good to see some more unusual phone species being sold cb.
I really did have to stop myself buying a group of trivitatus but this did earn me some brownie points with the Mrs.

I took a few pics of the dutch rana display vivs which ill upload here once I've had some sleep, its been a long day

Yes Phil, there are a few others which a very good with darts but Marc who runs this store is our only specialist in this area
sounds like i realy missed out Sad nevermind theres allways next time, busy trying to find some tincs atm,

Philsuma-- yes that is my supplier at the moment???!?!?
It was very cool, all credit goes to Musty, for his graft, its still small but worth a road trip, great to see dutchrana and finally put faces to names, but very important that as many of us get there as possible next time, this needs our support in its infancy.
Finally thanks Ben for the company and driving....cheers dude great to spend time with ya again

hmmm....that store looks completely squared away in terms of providing feeders, culture kits and media (food).

hey mate,Phil what does squared away mean?
stu
lol...."Squared away" is a U.S military term. It means:

tight. Good to go. Excellent.Top notch.

I was in London for 3 weeks back in the late 80's (College course), but I doubt Marc's store was there back then....
Danisparx, there should be some cobalt tincs at the pras show next weekend (need to check the date on the show tbh), I can put you in touch with the breeder if needed? I imagine there will also be some tincs available at the kidderminster show at the end of November, this is a rep show but there should be some of the more common darts there as well

Stu, good to see you again & thanks for the company on a long drive, looking forward to the next trip out

Gotcha thanks, yeah he sells pretty much everything you could possibly think of for phibs PhilHe is an absolute godsend to newcommers to our hobby well they find their feet. His store opened as an actual shop about 2 1/2 yrs ago just as we started thinking about this.He spent lots of time going over stuff with us while we started to get a handle on this, some folks don't like him too much but we think he's all good. There are alot of things he sells that we couldn't get here, and he has a shop full of darts too,so we are very fortunate that we can visit him often, many of these frogs Shaz and i would only see in pics if it were not for marc...personnally i have aLOT of time for him...a hell of a lot.I think he does an incedible job when one considers he is on his own too, frankly how he does what he does is amazing, and he always finds time for folks even with the damn phone ringing all the time
Ben
glad your back safe mate...bring it on eh...Ben get this tincs courting  ...somit  in the water here i guess
OMG...tescos look out

Agreed with sentiments on Marc, been using him for a long time for day gecko stuff too.

Stu, please stop spraying your vivs with viagra water, showing them frog porn & playing Barry white records, you're making all the other breeders look bad Big Grin
nah er its me singing to em...all the censored stuff is down to Shaz  i don't think the other breeders have much to worry about though Ben,we're just hanging on.
Seriously mate,i can't believe that they could go through all that travelling be separated, all the stress of the show, can't be easy for them, you know how i struggle with all this malarky they go through and then within minutes of being put together they recognise each other, not sit there terrified going what the hell just happened, and start stroking and following each other about, gobsmacked i am . I guess a testement to how much Ruud knows what he's doing !! I suppose thats why so many guys speak so highly of him,ha he's pretty inspiring on the viv front too huh
