I got one to examine.
hmmm... it seems they could be used inside a viv if modded a little and kept away from water.
Still playing around with it. They are kind of expensive... 26.00 or so,
but that is what you would pay for a 12 v 3" muffin (case) fan and an adapter a radio shack now anyway.
Incidentally, they are a mini squirrel cage blower, not a conventional bladed fan.
And the funky outlet can be removed.
They put out about 3x as much air w/o it.
