Just want to know if adding yeast to the top of ff media increases the ff production?
No...the OTHER yeast does....the Brewers yeast that is part of the main ingredient provides for the protein. More protein increase yields.

Baker's yeast is sprinkled on top and aids in allowing the digestion of the media but does not increase yield.

I Think I have that right....
Is it good to add it on top each culture
I always sprinkle just a bit - a dozen or so, no need to be exact...little balls of BAKER'S yeast on top when the culture media has cooled and 'set-up'. It's the last step for me.
Iv never used bakers yeast with my homemade media and I get more production then I know what to do with. I really think its pointless.
I would agree the bakers yeast is not doing anything. The brewers yeast in the mix provides the protein. It should be at the right amount as too much yeast seems to be bad as too little.
