Tina,
I think it is important to point out that these two devices really serve two different purposes.
While a fogger can be used to increase humdity in the environment it is not as effective at cleaning or rinsing the environment as a misting system would be. Misters will have larger droplets of water that accumulate on plants, substrate, etc. and provide a "rinsing" action. Also the darts are more likely to be stimulated by the "rain" that the mister provides, therefore promoting breeding behavior.

If I am having a few drip lines as well as a waterfall would I still need to mist?

They are not anywhere yet But yes I was planning on having a few drip lines against the back wall as well as a waterfall that goes into a pond.

how about a selection for both?
I was planning on having both in my new viv.
could emulate a natural rainforest habitat with em nicely.
have it foggy in the mornings, then in the afternoons have it 'rain' for a short while.

Without a doubt, a Mister.
Foggers - ultrasonic cool mist ect, are neato, and useful in some manner and frequency, but nothing should take the place of a good hand operated water mister for that essential variable water delivery system.
