I have a red eye, an azureus dart frog and a baby whites tree frog all in a viv and them seem to be doing well. The other day my friends witnessed my red eye blowing himself up and "puffing" up and doing what looked like "push-ups". What could this be ? any idea ?

Sounds like an aggressive act of display by the description?

I would highly recommend taking the azureus out of there ASAP. I'm sure he is not getting any sleep with the tree frogs being so active at night. Eventually, that stress could take its toll.

I would highly reccomend separating all the species, as soon as that whites gets big enough, he will eat the other frogs-take it from someone who learned the hard way! Sad
Please look up stuff like "not mixing", quarantine, fecals, ect. or you can expect your frogs to have substantially shortened lives.
i sent a pm about the austin chapter of Texas Dart Frogs.

Not to sound like a jerk or make you sound ignorant but please please please for all of those frogs sake, seperate the species. As soon as those whites get big enough, kiss the red eye and the PDFs goodbye. Not trying to be rude.
