Congrats. I keep hoping for a surprise in my vent tank but nothing has happened yet. The only problem is stopping them after I do find a surprise or two.

Yes I can definately understand that view. I am grateful for all the people who do breed and sell their frogs because without them, I would not have my frogs. Is breeding the frogs healthier than say having a tank of males only or females only? I have a 120g with 3 female azureus and a juv. that is ...

Breeding vs. quality of life

Does breeding the frogs so much shorten their life expectancy? It seems to be the majority of the froggers goals to breed their frogs. Why is this? I have one pair of frogs that I would love to have offspring from but simply because I want to have 2 more frogs in their tank. I feel that would be a n...

I took some pictures of a friend's veraderos last week and I definitely feel they are bold. Although they were in a QT tank, they were all over the place. They were posing in every way possible. Makes me want to trade my vents in on them (my vents hide ALL the time). Here are the shots that I took o...

I, for one, would like to thank you for this board and allowing the freedom of expressing our experiences and concerns regarding vendors in this hobby in public instead of hiding the crooks and vendors who misrepresent themselves through PM's.

I pick the beetles up with my fingernails and feed them to the terribilis one at a time just so watch and make sure they eat them ok. I also have an empty toilet paper roll in the cup that they crawl on and lay eggs on. I just shake it in the tank and the beetles fall off.

Are your frogs in your will?

Reading that thread on the hybrid tincs got me to wondering if I am the only one who has a back-up plan for my frogs when/if I die? I have instructed my husband as to whom he should give my frogs to if something were to happen to me that prevents me from caring for my frogs.
