I remember reading that thread Rich, thought it was really cool. That is so neat that he didn't even mind you there :)

Re: My curiosity about Cemetery Basti breeding & polymorphis

Thanks Phil and Rich, this pretty much answers what I was wondering. My 'dream' breeding setup would be a whole greenhouse or whatever size it took to have every color and see what comes of it just whatever they chose as mates. :D The reality with our small glass boxes... I think I would enjoy, woul...

My curiosity about Cemetery Basti breeding & polymorphism

For you pum people, just some things I'm wondering about... I have just become aware of the Cemetery Basti's polymorphism (is that a word? lol) and it is intriguing to me. So I have some questions... As I understand it, this morph (or is it locality?) comes in green, orange, yellow, with some others...

Re: Modded Exoterra fixtures & LYR bulbs

Thanks Jim,
The hood mods were the most interesting part to me, I use glass on my tops, but I am thinking of changing lighting, so this was of interest to me. Thanks for the pics and all showing and describing the mod.

Re: Eggs - need some advice

I don't have these guys, but from what I've read a second dish with water (not the distilled, just spring water from the store) should work better than nothing. Anyone who knows correct me if I'm wrong here. :)

Re: Why "Bakers Racks" for large sized Dart Frog collections

When I do a search, Google or store specific, for "bakers rack" or baker's rack" etc. all I get come up are "fancified" versions lol. Is there some other search term I should be using?

Re: Temp gun light attractive to frogs?

That was kinda what I was wondering too. Like how sharks sense faint electromagnetic fields in their prey. If the light had something specific about it that they could see that attracted them, more than just the movement. Even if I brace it against the glass and it is perfectly still, they go after ...

Temp gun light attractive to frogs?

Hi everyone,
Just wondering what about the red (laser?) aiming light on my temp gun would be attractive to my frogs? When I check the temp, there is an immediate response from them. They will actually chase the dot it if they are near it. The impression I get is they think it is food.

Re: Tads almost have arms!

Thanks all :) It is SO cool! They are so tiny! Second one is leaving the water in a brom now. All arms seem good and sturdy. I have a question about what date to use as ootw. I figure it must be the first time you see them out, I guess "how" out is my question, if they are sitting with the...

Re: Need bulk Brewers Yeast sellers

Old thread, but I am looking for some sources of Brewers Yeast that I can get a bigger amount than my local health food store carries. I see Josh's sells it in 5 lbs. Any others? Or types of stores (other than health food) to look for locally? I like to buy local if it is an option...
