Froglets out of water, front leg problems

Postby Djpaulys » Sun Dec 08, 2013 7:23 pm

I did not have very good luck with pull each froglet out then moving them to separate containers
So I have taken advice and made a morphing tank half land half water with rocks for for them to crawl out
Seems to be working better
The froglets don't seem to be able to use there front legs very good I'm guessing this is something that will take time
They seem to lay there and not really sit up
And thoughts or suggestions

Looks like SLS / spindly leg syndrome. If the front legs look like a matchstick, very thin...and in the last pic, it looks like the middle frog doesn't even have any front legs. If the frogs look 'flat' , front legs thin...cannot stand up...they have SLS

Nutritional deficiency. I think we talked about this in another thread of yours. You MUST dust fruit flies with fresh, good quality superfine calcium and vitamin supplements at almost EVERY SINGLE feeding. No skipping a week or so...no just pouring in a bunch of springtails and forgetting about things...
