Phil,
I heard calling in the background as well. Very cool.
Just like you mentioned if you leave the cam page open (the commercials are just when it is first opened) going forward they are not there.

Wow...I can hear all the pumilio vivs and the vitattus viv calling too.

A lot of calls can be heard. I tend to leave the Frog Cam window open on it's own page just to hear all the noises and calls in the background while I'm surfing other sites.

I need to keep reminding myself how much that mic picks up down there.

LOL Yeah that unfortunately doesn't go away. Would be nice though if there was an easy on off function for that banner :|

When it was up yesterday, I heard quite a commotion, I figured you were feeding your frogs Phil.
Maybe we need a Phil cam, LOL.

Check out the Cam. That open mic is picking up 3-4 male pumilio calling in addtion to the canary-like epips and even some vittatus calling.

It sounds like a jungle down there ! LOL

Cam is back up...LOTS of frog room sounds. 2-3 pums and Vittatus, Epips all going at the same time, at times.

Looking for feedback here people. Is this a good feature? Are people tuning in? Worthwhile ?

Again....gotta open the cam page and let it sit as an open tab / page and then open other tabs to continue to surf, and periodicly check back to it or even just listen to the frog calls as background noise.

Feedback please.....

Yep...that's the idea. I have @ 30 some vivs we can rotate that cam on.

Hopefully you at least saw some good action. I saw some unbelievable stuff - calling, chasing - all kinds of action. It's amazing what you see when they don't think anyone's watching.Heh

I think the next viv is going to be a 40 gallon vitattus enclosure. There's like 7 of them and they are always clowning.
