Dumped in too many Flies - Help !
#1
My son bumped in to me while I was feeding my leucs this mourning and instead of a few hundred flies they got a couple thousand along with a blanket of white powder. I do not know if I should run the mist system to clean the powder up or not. I do not want to drown or wash the flies. I am hoping the flies will live for a few days! Any suggestions?

If it is at the point where the flys are obviously stressing the frogs you need to try to kill them/get them out of there. The supplements should not be a huge issue, but a misting is not a bad idea.

Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

They are in a fifty five gallon. I am going to put a piece of fruit in it and try to get them out. I will go ahead and mist it first for a few minutes. Thanks Rich..................Scotty

Yeah if you put 4 or 5 slices of banana scattered around in there you should be able to get a bunch of them out of there
