My wife's bead storage gave me an idea for tad use. she has them mounted on the walls but i found a rototower that looks amazing.http://www.flambeau-products.com/plasti ... binets.htm

Neat idea! Any concerns about airflow? Maybe drill vent holes in the front panels of the drawers? Very efficient storage. Should make for easy maintenance. When are you picking yours up? Wink

We picked up about 10 of them on our last trip to austin from one of the bead shops. They each hold 45 trays. The back of the frames are open so im guessing you could place a fan on the backside to increase air flow.

Chris,

You may have read this thread, but if not....opinions vary, but I personally would never use a plastic tool/storage/bin type container for raising tadpoles. Just my .02

Thanks for the thread it gives me something to think about. i think the best thing to do if there is a possibility of causing harm to the frog is take it completely out of the equation and find another solution. It looks like my wife gets to keep all of her bead storage units.

i see what you mean with that thread and the concerns re raising tadpoles in them, but surely if you sealed them with the likes of an aquarium safe epoxy resin then there would be no problems, just a suggestion as i've used this type of resin to build 500L aquariums and keep delicate fish like Discus in them with no problems what so ever..
