My First Love - Planted Aquariums

0 Replies, 1111 Views

So before I got into planted vivariums and dartfrogs, I was into planted aquariums.

I recently took about 10 tanks down in my fish room to make room for frogs. So now I have a Fish/Frog Room.

Here is a some shots of my 53 gallon planted tank.

The tank Currently has 5 wild caught Brazillian Pterophyllum scalare, 3 Thayeria boehlkei, 3 Crossocheilus siamensis, and 4 Hypancistrus sp. 'Rio Jaro'...

Plants are mostly various crypt species, as well as Microsorum pteropus ‘Narrow’, Staurogyne repens, and Fissidens fontanus.

Here some pics.... ENJOY

Awesome. We need the Dart Frog Vivarium sensei equivalent - like that Japanese guy in the Aquarium magazines.

"Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana".
Very nice... The layout of that tank would make a nice dart frog tank as well.
Nice. I love the look of the branches.
