Fed Ex will have a rate increase effective Jan '07. It has been rumored it can be up to 10% *ouch*!
Other carriers will probably follow suit.

The last 3 packages I sent out averaged $51-57.

The month before, similar sized packages were costing $45-47

Holiday rush surcharge?
