Thie real last one is not an Uakarii, but it's been awhile since I photographically posted why I absolutely refuse to use the USPS unless there is absolutely ZERO other option......and the pic starts with "U"...

Stunning mate! How do you find these? my guys are fairly bold 8)
Those guys are cool looking. What can you tell us about them? How big are they?
They are fairly small and pick up more belly-yellow as they age . Look similar to Amis, but that yellow underside stands out like crazy. Very pretty frogs. I'll be putting them in-viv very soon. They are now being treated.
Not tons in the U.S. hobby.
hey rich,

i think i remember you swearing off amys because of their shy nature. are these any bolder? or just too pretty to resist?
Yes they are bolder than Amis. I have always loved the beauty of Amis/Red Vents but just refuse to work with any frogs that are not boldish.

sbreland

that was going ot be similar to my question... do you feel that these guys are that different from ammys/red vents? I have both ammys and red vents and just am not fully convinced that I want to get another frog that looks virtually the same. Don't get me wrong, they are beautiful and something I'd love to have, but I'm just not sure they are different enough from the ammys to make that jump yet.
I'll have to post more about their habits and such after I can spend some time watching them in-viv. They are just beautiful frogs I have been drooling over for some time now and when I was told of their boldness I had to have them.
Stunning frogs....and pics, Rich.
