Thanks Rich.

Finally got a picture of one of the females, they all usually scatter as soon as the lid is opened.

My taras are getting to be my favotite frogs Big Grin
Hey Gary.
This group does have some nice coloration, well except for some of the babies, they're somewhat 'lacking'
Here is a side by side comparison.
The larger one is about 12 weeks OTW, little one just morphed a few days ago.

WOW, AMAZING!

Thanks for asking, they are growing like weeds, and doing great!
I will try to get some updated pictures.
did i miss something or did we not figure out why they are like that?
Cindy What line of taras are these coming from??
Brian
Hey Cindy!

Have you noticed that along with the obvious lack of dark pigments there seems to be a lack of greenish/blue pigments on the legs of all your amelanistic Tarapotos? One of mine just recently morphed out amelanistic as well and I've noticed that so far no green has shown up thus far.

Very cool pics! Hope they're doing well!

Ross.

So pretty! Very unique!
Old thread I know, Just had had to say WOW! Very cool. Love the freaky looking eyes. Any updates on how they are doing?
Any updates on this Cindy ?
Each of these survived less than 6 months.
I didn't have any production from the Tarapotos last
year, so we will see what this year brings.
Cindy, My experience with albinos is mortality. My longest lived was in a low light setting. A local frogger here in Illinois has successfully raised amelanistic Tarapotos from his pair.
Bumping this for Craig...
Incredible... thanks for bumping this! Wow. The yellow on top of the translucent skin was awesome.
