How many hobbyists feed large feeders such as roaches, crickets, superworms and such to their Dart Frogs ? What type of large feeder insects as well ?
Most dart frogs will not 'tackle' larger food items, the exception being the phyllobates, which will shove just about anything into their mouths if they think it will fit.
The superworms, meal worms and such have a hard exoskeleton and the darts do not find them palatable.
Ok, I've decided to add smaller feeders to my list of feeder insects. I've added fruit flies, springtails and woodlice so far.
