Pictures of my vivarium never seem to do it justice. I have a really nice camera, but I can't seem to get good viv pics. Any tips ? Lighting, settings, anything?
What is not doing it justice? If its something like glare you can just push the camera lens onto the glass and their won't be anymore glare. If its something else like the picture is just a bit fuzzy because its dark or something just take a picture in a brightly lit are. Hope this helps.
It's the lighting, and the feel of depth. When I take the photos it ends up looking so flat and washed out. And the driftwood always looks like dirt for some reason.
Well the only thing I can currently think of is the color spectrum of the lights that is lighting your photo, try taking the photo in sunlight if you already are I have no clue.
Perhaps the flash is ruining things. Not much sunlight where the tank is set up, but it does have full spectrum bulbs.

Thanks for the thoughts!
