Hi all,
I just noticed in the water in some of my broms, there are some little white worms. These are not the nematodes that climb the glass, but a little thicker and shorter. They move by contracting and expanding their body. My female solarte was feeding a tad and when she came out of the brom, a couple of these worms were on her and she was trying to sweep them off with her feet. Anyone have any ideas what they might be or if they are harmful?
Thanks,
Scott
Any chance of posting a pick? How do they differ from grindel worms?

Rich
I'll try to get a pic, might be kind of hard since they are only in the water of my broms. Don't know if I have ever seen a grindel worm, are those the ones that look kind of "jagged"?
Scott
Grindels are smoothish , long, thin white worms that are probably the most common sighted (along with namertaines sp?) in our vivs.

VERY helpful site....
No, they're not grindels, they are shorter, wider, and maybe flatter than those. Thanks Philsuma, I'll try that site. I have never seen these worms in a viv before.
