yeah, that would be cool to try for 20-30 of bangin' cx's at one time - to see what kind of feeder effect you could have on the entire collection. I'm going to give em a try at some point, just to see how I do with them.

It's possible that humidity could be an issue, but to be honest I've never had much of a problem with it. Usually the problems are temperature - too high = poor quality wilting plants and very few aphids, or cultures only produce one yielld, or too many peas added to a culture/too wet culture = rotten peas and a bad smell.
15C, moist but not wet tissue paper at the bottom and a single layer of peas and you can't go wrong. Should get two good yields from a culture each of more biomass than you would get from similar sized mel culture.
(I'm not lobbying for the pea-grower's alliance by the way - just putting the info out there for anyone who wants to try!!)
