Superb frickin' pics Rich !
There's quite a few Eagles in the Susquehana River Valley near my house and I saw a few up close.
Way back in the 90's we investigated an incident where a local douchbag shot and killed a juvenile bald eagle and had the stones to wear a talon on a necklace around town !
After arresting him,we turned over prosecution to the Feds. He did some decent time behind that stupid stunt.

Nice pictures of my home state. There are a lot of good trout streams around Hayward. Did you get a chance to wet a line? It won't be until September that I'm up in gods country again... sigh ...

Thanks guys. We all caught tons of fish. Most I've ever caught of differeent species. Beautiful up there.
Casper, I used a wooly bugger on an size 18 hook the first day I got there in the AM and caught a bunch of stuff off the dock. A rainbow took my bugger twice and soft mouthed it and spit it out twice right in a row. I was surprised it took it twice.
And that mother bald eagle was screaching at us being too close to her nest...
