Hey Rich

I was only able to get 60 here local.....I have a few large film developers across the country collecting them for me. Although they did say it would take awhile to get some built up to ship.....If you want the ones I have let me know.
Thanks Jim,
no need to send them my way until they are in the higher hundreds.

OK cool.....I figured I would still offer them up.
Ok, I'm totally out of film cans now and I have a bunch of new frogs coming out of quarantine, so I'm now willing to take any saved up as long as they are over 100 at a time.
Thanks,
Rich
Rich, go to your local Rite Aid, Walgreens, or CVS and ask for their empties, they throw 20, 30, 40 out every day or two. Call ahead and ask them and they will probably save them for you.

Oh Craig, stamp that say "first rodeo" on my gourd?
Craig,

Ya been out of the active part of the hobby for a few years....I'll fill ya in on film cans.

They are MUCH harder to get nowadays. The economy, digital cams, those weird GPS hobby (geocaching, I think they call it) and people who speculate on eBay- "hey...I've got 100 black film cans for only $80.00 plus 28.00 shipping and handling.

They are a bitch to collect in large numbers like Rich needs....
Ive got about 300. Contact me if interested.

Michael
Hahaha, I guess that goes to show how long I have been out of the hobby!!! I didn't read back in the post and just responded in sort of a knee-jerk way. That is wild that they sell for that much now...I guess I better start searching now.

Hope you got a good laugh out of that one Rich!
Thanks Michael, Emailed you.

Good laugh Craig  .
I had to go to CVS today and stopped by the photo lab and got about 30 film canisters but most were opaque. Rich, have you had more success with the black or opaque? Does it matter?
I don't think it matters much Craig. Here's the thing, broms, cans, dieffenbachia, garbage, obligates will use whatever is around if it holds small amounts of water.

Rich
It's that time again. Building new tanks and can use as many as you have and probably more.

These guys prices are not super great, but I can order hundreds (and they say orders of a thousand call) at a time and I never had a problem. Usually to me in 2-3 days. Looks like the price may have went up since I ordered last month. I could have sworn they were only .38 but even that is not too cheap. But any time I try to order more than ten from somewhere else, I can't so I just pay the extra to get what I want.
