Anyone have a good source of quality suction cups ? I'm finding the ones most sponsors use get stiff and fail over time after being exposed to water for so long. Seems they change color and fall off the glass. Anyone else with this problem ?

Yea, the plastic seems to degrade pretty fast.
You can get the clear ones in many assorted sizes at the larger craft stores. I don't know if they are much better, but at least its a cheap source for them.
Cheers,
Todd
I just bought a bulk quantity. Are there really different grades or quality of the clear plastic ? I would think they are about all the same...
We need to find a source for the black ones they use on the aquarium heaters.
They hold up.
^^ Ah...didn't think about that Cindy. Those are designed for total water immersion....
BINGO!

Agreed!

Phil, Seems the ones I've been getting go from almost clear to white and become stiff and don't like to stick to the glass any more. I have a bunch of cans I cant use right now cause they wont stick.
I bought 500 of the small clear one's with the littl metal hook attached. I rip the hook off of course.

They seem to hold up well for at least several / many years.....I have some in use for over 5 years, at least....
I have found that whether clear or black they both work well if they are made of quality rubber/plastics. I purchased in bulk from Joshs Frogs ( a clear type) . After 1 year or so still holding up well ! Good Luck!
