Can clay pots be used in place of film canisters? Providing there are no sharp edges, of course. I was also wondering if multiple coco huts are ok?? Maybe that last one is a stupid question and maybe I'm over-thinking it, but I don't know if it could affect breeding in some way or ???
Thanks
Clay pots are excellent, in that they actually hold in moisture better than coconuts (coco hutz).
Be sure to have a flat plastic lid or glass petri dish underneath every hide if you are looking for breeding - eggs.
I sometimes use "flat-ish" glass ashtrays underneath hides with good success.
Multiple hides / for breeding and egg deposition - not a problem either. I've had 6 of them in a Leuc colony of mine. No problem there.
