What does everyone do about drainage for the plant roots when the pot is foamed around with the GS? For instance on the wall of a viv. It seems it would seal it in water tight and prevent draining.

drill / punch/ skewer / stab some holes into the foam for drainage.

I plan on putting in some drain tubes

I like this method - I just cut an old metal hanger and pushed it into the dried GS foam in various places.
