Is that the hard/dry sticks?

or the soft, moist 'fiber'?

the soft stuff [sold by Exoterra also] is fantastic for isopods, springtails and mixed in substrate. I use it for creating backgrounds also...

Its the hard sticks, works great for aerating substrate. Thanks for the tip on the exo stuff...I got a bag and was disappointed, never thought to use it for bug cultures, gonna give it a shot.
