Best quick advice for not continually running out of fruit flies...
Pick a day of the week and ALWAYS make at least one new culture on that day and do not skip it.

Phil is 100% on this. They used to say PE was an easy class to pass and easy to fail. I think certain elements of Dart frog husbandry are like that. Simple discipline is key to many aspects of this hobby. I would also recommend always making an extra culture or 2. If you throw them out so be it... you never know when a culture may not hit good production for various reasons or you have a big feeding w full cup and drop the FF jar on the carpet upside down.... it happens.
FF Culturing....both the easiest part of the hobby (compared to feeder crix,rodents ect) AND the hardest part of the hobby.
Your analogy there, was very fitting Scotty.
