Hello folks as some of you might already know I will be leaving for Colombia on Friday to collect fish. So I want to name the locations we are going to be at to see if any of you perhaps know of dart frogs that we should look for.

She's a little too big for a film can....but...bring her back anyway.

I have a Viv already set up - it's only @ 2,000 square feet but LIE to her and tell her it's only going to be a Temp Tank.

I'm culturing seafood and kobe beef for her too...

Seriously....do not try to bring any "film can" items back. I was tempted a couple time....won't lie....but don't.

Shes actually already in the states all we need to do is do a field search for her in FL. hahahah

Phil what do you mean Film can items i'm lost lol...explain?

Black plastic film canisters are used by smugglers to house a small animal or 2, as they are small, easy to conceal ect.

What to look for could also be tree roots, rock formations and "small scenes" that could serve as inspiration for viv decoration. And share the photos with rest of us when you return back home, it would be greatly appreciated!
- As to look for scenes through your lens "that would fit into your viv", would be nice... Idea

Hello guys from quimbaya quindio

AWESOME ! PICS !!!!!!!!!

I figure I would update you all.

The trip to choco got cancelled as the FARC where causing struggles in that area burning buses and cars.

But we did heard males calling and got shots of their environments. I tried to get close to one of the males but failed in the attempt as they were in a high hill.

Anyways I'm in bogota tonight and plane leaves tomorrow morning so I hope to be home no later than 6pm.

Glad you and your family are safe! Sorry to hear about the cancellation of Choco - there is also new narco/violence activity in Sierra Nevada - I had to cancel my plans for Tayrona park, so now going to Leticia. Look forward to hearing the details and seeing pics of your trip.
