Our first tads hatched yesterday and the male has not moved them to the water yet...they are still in a nice puddle of gel but I am not sure if the dad will move them. At what point should we transfer them to the water? Could he be waiting for the last to hatch? :?:
I'm going to assume the species here is tinctorious, auratus, leucomelas or similar non obligate type. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The adults may not approve of any of your enclosure water areas - and that is why there is no transport.

You could use a plastic spoon / slurpee straw and carefully transfer the tads to small water cups outside the enclosure.

Be sure that the tadpoles are kept very moist, at least. Water touching the sides of the remaining egg jell at all times, but not covering them completely - too deep to get oxygen.

If you could post more info and pictures...that would be a huge help.
