Now if I could just teach him some xmas carols...
Great photos Chuck! Still can't get enough of the Vanzo's!
Thanks Jim! The vanzos are my favorites

(okay, they're -all- my favorites) :-)
My vanzo's used to be out all the time. Now I never see them. I can hear them.. but never see them.

Sean
Mine will go back and forth doing that too; my guess is when I'm not seeing them, they're getting up to mischief under the foliage somewhere...
the Vanzo's are quiet compared to the pumilio calls huh ?

Heh... Poppa El Dorado found his full-throated volume this week, and has made me very pleased with my decision to limit the vivs in my office to thumbs and keep the pums down the hall in the "conservatory"...
Your vivs are looking good Chuck. Glad to see the eldorados are calling. Wait until you have a couple pums in a room and they all start going, its great!
Thanks Craig!

Yeah, I'm waiting for that -- the other viv on the same shelf has a couple of young Darklands in it; I figure it won't be too long before the El Dorados encourage them to start playing in stereo...
I've been meaning to post this for a couple of weeks, but it's tough to get a shot of it hanging up in the frog room without catching a bunch of light reflections, and I'm too lazy to take it apart to shoot it without the glass :-)

My oldest and his new wife took their honeymoon in Costa Rica this summer, and they brought this back for me --

It's a little hard to tell from the picture, but the frogs (a tree frog and a pair of blue jeans) and butterflies are some sort of fabric appliques, mounted on dried coffee leaves.

Do my kids know me or what?
Costa Rica - San Jose has a huge art community. Very nice piece.

Wow what growth and variety Chuck!
Getting really good with that new cam !
Thanks! Actually, that one is probably more an example of getting better with post processing :-)
Not a great pic, but I finally managed to sneak up and get a shot of one of the Darklands...
